Celebrate National 4-H Week • October 5–11, 2025 Theme: “Beyond Ready!”
Chippewa County 4-H clubs & groups are invited to showcase their creativity and pride by entering the 2025 Lawn or Window Display Contest! This is a fun and visible way to promote 4-H during National 4-H Week and connect with your community.
Contest Rules
- Theme & Branding
- Your display must include the National 4-H theme: “Beyond Ready!”
- Include a 4-H clover (following official guidelines) and either “Chippewa County 4-H” or your club name.
- Location & Visibility
- Displays must be publicly visible from October 6–10.
- Great locations include front yards, club meeting sites, or local businesses (with permission).
- Displays must be removed promptly the following week to avoid citations from the DOT.
- Judging Criteria
- Eye appeal and neatness
- Creativity and originality
- Effectiveness in conveying the theme
- Local relevance and interest
- Potential reach (especially if shared on social media)
- Use hashtags: #BeyondReady4H and/or #Chippewa4H
- Registration & Sharing
- Complete the Google Form registration by October 6 to share your display location.
- Tag us on Facebook and Instagram: @Chippewa4H
- Email display photos to Jordan at jordan.blue@wisc.edu
- Timeline
- Displays must be installed by Sunday, October 5, 2025
- Judging will be conducted virtually during National 4-H Week.
How to Get Started
Make it a team effort! Here’s a simple process to help your club participate:
- Identify a Volunteer Coordinator
- Choose someone in your club to lead the display project.
- Recruit Your Team
- Create a sign-up sheet for members interested in helping.
- Plan & Schedule
- Set a date to brainstorm ideas and design your display.
- Schedule a time to build and install it—either as a small group or full club.
- Create & Install
- Work together to bring your vision to life.
- Make sure it’s installed by the deadline and ready to shine!
- Share & Celebrate
- Post your display on social media using the contest hashtags.
- Don’t forget to tag @Chippewa4H and send your photos to Jordan!
