Chippewa County 4-H Cloverbud Project
Welcome to Chippewa County 4-H and Your First Project!
We are thrilled to see what our youth will accomplish in 4-H! To get started, parents, caregivers, and youth might be curious about what it means to join a project. If you have any questions, this page is here to help.
Cloverbud Project for New Members
If your child is a new member in grades 5K-2, they will be part of the Cloverbud Project. Youth in these grades are often called Cloverbuds. This is the only project available for this age group, as it is specifically designed for them.
Join 4-H
If you haven’t joined 4-H yet and want to get involved, visit our Start Here page to learn how to sign up.
We encourage youth and families to use the Cloverbud Project as their first 4-H experience. It’s a great way to explore what 4-H has to offer and to get to know your club and community. Learn more about the Cloverbud Project below.
Activities for Cloverbuds
Youth in grades K-2 are unique, special, and wonderful. The Cloverbud Project offers activities that are age-appropriate, fun, and engaging. Here are some activities your child can enjoy:
- Experimenting with science, technology, engineering, and math
- Exploring creativity through theater and visual arts
- Diving into animal and plant science
- Learning about themselves and others
- Giving back to their communities through service projects
- And many more activities!
By the time youth finish 2nd grade and enter 3rd grade, they will have a better understanding of their interests in 4-H. They will feel ready to choose the projects they want to explore further, having already experienced a variety of activities.
