Chippewa County 4-H offers many county-wide events and activities in which members can participate throughout the year.
Houseplant Workshop

This hands-on educational workshop welcomes beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts alike. Participants learn practical plant-care skills, explore houseplant topics, and take home a leafy companion. Presented in partnership with a local community greenhouse or florist, the workshop combines expert instruction, materials, and a fun learning experience.
Shooting
Sports
The Chippewa County 4-H Shooting Sports Program offers youth a fun, safe, and educational way to learn shooting sports while building responsibility, teamwork, decision-making, and sportsmanship.
The program is planned by a dedicated Shooting Sports Committee, and each discipline is led by trained and certified adult volunteers. Their support creates meaningful opportunities for youth to learn, practice safely, and grow as individuals.
Speaking and Demonstration

Public speaking and demonstrations are important to the 4-H experience, offering youth the chance to research, plan, and present topics they’re passionate about. Whether presenting solo or as part of a dynamic duo, participants will benefit from practicing communication skills that are essential for future success. Demonstrations, a key form of 4-H public speaking, allow members to combine speaking with visual aids, showing or explaining a skill, activity, or concept in a clear, engaging way.
Performing Arts Festival

The festival features a variety of music and drama categories, allowing participants to showcase their talents in vocal, instrumental, dance, and novelty performances, as well as on-stage dramas, mini-dramas, skits, and more. Each performance is designed to help youth build confidence and express themselves creatively.
Clover
College

Discover new interests at Clover College! Youth in kindergarten through 13th grade choose hands-on sessions to create, explore, build skills, and have fun. With topics ranging from animals and arts to woodworking and leadership, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Food & Clothing Revue

This event celebrates what you’ve learned and created—whether that’s preparing a favorite recipe, exploring a food‑related activity, sewing or upcycling clothing, or putting together an outfit that reflects your personal style. Participants will meet with supportive judges, model their outfit, display a food creation or action exhibit, and gain confidence through sharing their work. The Food & Clothing Revue is a fun, encouraging environment to learn new skills, connect with other 4‑H members, and celebrate all that you’ve achieved.

Explore the culture, history, and charm of Wisconsin through an unforgettable 3-day, 2-night adventure for youth in grades 5–8. Participants will visit unique communities, experience new cultures, build leadership skills, and gain independence through hands-on learning and statewide exploration.
