Chippewa County 4-H offers many county-wide events and activities in which members can participate throughout the year.
Cloverbud
Club
Second Monday of the Month
5:30-7:00pm
Cloverbud Club introduces youth in grades K-2 to 4-H through hands-on activities, new friendships, and fun learning experiences. Youth explore a variety of project areas while building confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.
Houseplant Workshop

Learn the basics of houseplant care in this hands-on workshop for youth and families. Participants explore plant care techniques, create a take-home project, and receive guidance from local greenhouse or florist professionals.
Shooting
Sports
The Chippewa County 4-H Shooting Sports Program provides youth with a safe, educational introduction to shooting sports. Participants build responsibility, teamwork, decision-making, and sportsmanship while learning from certified volunteer instructors.
STEM Day

Discover the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through this hands-on learning experience for youth in grades 8-13. Hosted in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Stout Fabrication Lab, participants explore emerging technologies such as 3D printing, soldering, laser engraving, and computer programming while building problem-solving and technical skills.
Speaking & Demonstration

Youth build communication and leadership skills by researching, preparing, and presenting topics that interest them. Participants gain confidence while sharing their knowledge through speeches and demonstrations.
Performing Arts Festival

Showcase your talents in music, drama, dance, and other performing arts categories. Youth gain confidence, develop stage presence, and express their creativity in a supportive environment.
Clover
College

Discover new interests at Clover College! Youth in kindergarten through grade 13 participate in hands-on sessions that encourage creativity, skill development, exploration, and fun.
Food & Clothing

Celebrate the skills you’ve learned through food, nutrition, sewing, clothing, and consumer education projects. Participants share their work, receive positive feedback, and build confidence through presentation and display activities.
Summer
Camp
June 21 – 24, 2027
4-H Summer Camp gives youth the opportunity to explore new interests, build independence, and make lasting friendships. Campers enjoy outdoor adventures, hands-on learning, and memorable experiences in a supportive environment.
Cloverbud Stuffed
Animal Show
July 9, 2027
Bring your favorite stuffed animal and join the fun at the fair! Youth practice speaking skills, share stories about their furry friend, and build confidence in a welcoming setting.
Discover
Wisconsin
July 27 – 29, 2027
Explore Wisconsin through a three-day youth travel experience for grades 5-8. Participants learn about the state’s history, culture, and communities while building leadership skills and independence.
