4-H Positive Youth Development

Chippewa County 4-H helps young people learn, lead, and thrive through hands-on experiences. Grounded in experiential learning, 4-H supports personal growth, empowers youth leadership, and builds the skills needed for college, career, and lifelong success.

What is 4-H?

4-H is a national program that helps young people develop leadership, citizenship, and life skills. Since 1915, Chippewa County 4-H has offered hands-on learning, leadership opportunities, and community involvement.

As part of the University of Wisconsin–Madison Division of Extension’s Institute of Positive Youth Development, Chippewa County 4-H connects local youth to the largest youth development organization in the country.
